TelepatheDanceMother Jan 30th, 2009 - Telepathe / Dance Mother
I sure do miss NYC. It gives birth to indie outer space bands like Telepathe. And it sure is getting pleasantly weirder. Opener So Fine sets the mood. Devil's Trident loops your brain. Lights Go Down blips like one of Bjork's newer releases. And I Can't Stand It reverbs with that psychedelic vibe that NYC bands somehow love. Dance Mother is out on iTunes now.

FranzFerdinandTonight Jan 28th, 2009 - Franz Ferdinand / Tonight: Franz Ferdinand
Franz Ferdinand is a band I've been trying to like since their self-titled first album. The third studio piece is out and I'm still trying to convince myself. They've got some funky tunes like Turn It On, Twilight Omens and Lucid Dreams. Not quite like Take Me Out or This Fire though, which are the only 2 songs that I've been hoping their sound would greatly expand on.

Main Jan 26th, 2009 - GONG XI FA CAI
Happy Chinese New Year! Don't eat too many goodies. They'll make you fat. That's what Shufen says. You know she's right. Coz lians are always right!

SF3 Jan 21st, 2009 - Street Fighter Strategies
Remember this site I told you about a year back? The one that detailed some techniques on how to improve your Street Fighter III Third Strike game? Well, they've begun work on strategy guides for SSF2T HD Remix and SF4. Yup. Good, right? I learnt some new things browsing through the W.I.P pages.

WhiteLiesTLML Jan 20th, 2009 - White Lies / To Lose My Life...
When I first listened to White Lies last year, their sound conjured up Duran Duran's Wild Boys and some parts of the Cure. It's probably that reverb thing. Their debut album is out containing the singles Death, Unfinished Business and the title track, To Lose My Life. This could be one of the albums on 2009 lists come year end. I'm liking E.S.T. very much.

KylieMinogueBoombox Jan 17th, 2009 - Kylie Minogue / Boombox
Remix compilations are a mixed bag because not all remixes are created equal. I like half of the tracks on Boombox, including the mash up with New Order, the Chemical Brothers' version of Slow and Mylo's remix of I Believe In You. The remixes are all shortened edits unfortunately, only enough to give the uninitiated a taste of them, but not for club mixing use.

DesktopSet1 Jan 12th, 2009 - New Product: Loti Wallpapers
Start the week right with some Loti wallpapers for your desktop! Download them from the product section. Come on. You know you want to. Let's Lotify everything! Is that a new word?! Ahahahaha.

SSF2THDR Jan 9th, 2009 - Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
Finally, this is out for the Asian PS Network! No introduction is necessary for THE fighting game of the last decade. Featuring rebalanced characters, the original SSF2T or a remixed mode for HD displays, plus online battles that are pretty lag free, this game needs to be in your PS3 or X360. Seriously, online will keep this game going for a very long time.

SirenNT Jan 8th, 2009 - Siren: New Translation
What a surprise I got when I opened this PS3 game today. Siren is a remake of an old PS survival horror game. It's an overhaul in the right direction, keeping the old sight-jacking ability to look through the eyes of the shibito ghouls while you run and hide a lot. It's short, but the episodic nature of it allows for 15 minute game breaks. Finding all the archive items is where it's at.

MGS4 Jan 4th, 2009 - Metal Gear Solid Touch
Have you seen this? My buddies in Japan have alerted me to some Konami games for their iPhone and iPod Touch. The upcoming one is Metal Gear Solid Touch. Even if it's a point and click touch game, it looks pretty fun! Heck, there's even a Silent Hill and DDR game on Konami's Touch applications page. Too bad I don't have the hardware or a phone for that matter.

Main Jan 1st, 2009 - Happy New Year!
Happy New Year. Yup.
