Shelf space is limited.
Time to sell off some stuff.
Let's see if this works.
I'll put them in the forum
section as well.
If there is response, I'll
put more items up.

I have the following items for sale.
All things resold from my shelves
are in mint condition.

Will Eisner's Comics And Sequential Art S$20 SOLD

September 3rd, 2009 - Gundam POD 1st Play

News40a

They're finally operational!
And look at the above picture,
there are Gundam PODs at
AMK Hub's Zone X!
There are only 4 units and
are currently offline,
but it's near my place!

The controls are pretty easy
to figure out and get used to.
If you've been playing Virtua On,
the twinstick control is a snap.

It's $5 for a data card and
$5 per game, which is quite reasonable.
There are headsets available but
there wasn't anybody else entering
at the time of my game.

News40b
Right stick controls and my scrawny leg.

News40c
At last, a game that allows
me to input my full name.

News40d
Collecting my battle points
after a battle on Side 7 (I believe
this is the first training level).

Yeah, I only managed to destroy
5 Zakus since I only played one game.
Looks like I am with the Earth Federation
for now. I don't think you can change
sides using one card.
This game has the potential to
ruin my funds. Scary!

September 1st, 2009 - Comic Blog Workshop

News39

The National Library Board is
kicking off another round of
workshops in mid September under the
Bear Fruit Academy/Creative Academy
and they have asked me to help out
with a comic module they are offering.

They are specifically targeting
people who are interested in
doing comics on blogs,
which is something I am sorta doing
right now and is why I think
I can help.

But please don't see me as
a "mentor" like what the NLB describes.
I do not in ANY way possess
the genius or talent that
REAL mentors have.

I'll be sharing with participants
my experience on doing comics
for the web and the technicalities
I encountered. If anything, it should
be a fun 4 sessions for those who
come and simply want to create new
comic works and explore ideas.

So if you've been doodling
some comics somewhere and would
like to expand them beyond the
pages of your sketchbook,
this workshop might be
up your alley.

Oh, the NLB has also tied up
with Funics Production who is
the official sponsor for the comics
workshop and present the opportunity
to get published at the end of
the 4 week module.

Interested?
Then email Chris_KOH@nlb.gov.sg
right now! It's free so spaces
are limited.
