A Nation Cheated

Those of you who've read Part 4 will know that Quest and I encountered a certain book while we were checking out my products in BooksKinokuniya. The book is A Nation Cheated by Chee Soon Juan, who was one of the prominent members of Singapore's political opposition, at least at the time.

Now, I've never read this book before, so I can't comment on the contents. However, if I were to make a wild guess, I doubt that it's in praise of our incumbent government. What was interesting, though, was how we found the book placed directly over the front facing cover of my books, effectively blocking them from a shopper's view. It didn't have a price tag on it either.

Quest had several theories that range from people identifying me as a fellow opposition supporter to haters trying to be witty. I really didn't know what to make of it, but funny things like this allow my books to write themselves.
